Great location right next to the ruins (which are spectacular and empty. Much better than Chichen Itza). Very reasonably priced. Clean and ok' ish air con, if rather dated decor etc.
Inattentive staff. As many have commented pool is murky. They do clean it daily - I watched him do it, but needs chemicals sorting out. Very few people seem to use it as it looks unwelcoming - we didnt. Other reviews negative on food - so we didnt risk it for dinner but had a very good meal 100m down the road at The Lodge.

The location is excellent, just 5 min walking from the Archeological site. The hotel rooms are nice, although a bit dark.
The food and the service at the restaurant it's not what I'd expected. The menu didn't have much in the way of typical Yucatan cuisine and when we asked the waiters for information about the dishes they didn't know!

Visited the ruins.
everything was very good. Food was probably the piece that could use a little improvement

We liked it's convenient proximity to the Uxmal ruins and the unusual interior architecture of our rooms.
It is showing some signs of decline. There were areas around the courtyard with peeling and faded paint, and there was a gift shop which was never open.

They bar/restaurant never had change. They expected you to have you exact change which seemed really weird.
